putting things into the proper perspective, i’m going to take a step back and be excited for the new year. being in uni kind of establishes a disconnect between the academic year and the REAL year, so come january it’s just completing the 2nd part of the motion and all that. but either way, have come to realised that excitement for the new year doesn’t come from the thrill of uncertainties or programme or event, but it stems from the recognition that God can do things in your life that falls so much in place that it amazes you. Stoked to see God’s fingerprints all over my life, and this time around, I want to do things that take me to the next level. With that said, i’m not saying i’m immunised from any trouble or any crap in my life nor that my mentality will not be challenged, or that there wouldn’t be times I beat myself up and indulge in the false voices in my head at times, but that even so, I can truly revel in the everlasting promise and understanding of the God of my life.
